Parents pay the fees by default. The school can choose separately who pays Stripe’s processing fee and who pays Ashby’s collection fee. Families see their fees before paying.
What you do not pay Ashby for
Record cash, checks, and payments collected elsewhere for free. Recording the agency portion of a childcare subsidy is also free. Online payments are optional.
One successful payment covering several children has one $1.99 Ashby fee. Separate payments each have their own fee. Failed attempts do not add an Ashby collection fee. Forty successful collections cost $79.60 in Ashby fees, plus Stripe processing fees.
