Enrollment waitlist

Enrollment is the waitlist for a new family. Add a parent who wants a spot — not the child’s name yet. You can move them to Admitted without a parent login. Inviting them is highly recommended so they can fill the child’s details on Ashby. A child already in your care goes on Children instead.

1. After you sign in, open Enrollment from the left menu.
2. Drag a family on the board to Inquiry, Waitlist, or Admitted. On the waitlist, drop them where they belong in line. You can also tick families and use the buttons.
3. To add someone, use Add a family under the board. Fill the parent’s name, email, address, and a start date if you know it. If you have more than one room, pick the room they would join. Each card shows that room’s age group and how many children are in it — or Room is full.
4. When you have a spot, drag them to Admitted. That is enough. When you want them on Ashby, tick the family and tap Invite. They fill the child’s details, and you Review and Approve. You can also add that child on Children yourself.
5. If they go elsewhere, remove them. A child already in your care still goes on Children.

A lead is a parent who asked about a spot. It is not a child record. That is why this page does not ask for a child’s legal name or date of birth.

• Lead — the parent’s name, email, phone, address, a hoped-for start date, and the room they would join. One room fills in for you. Notes stay with the lead. The card shows that room’s age group and enrolled count, not a child’s date of birth.
• Inquiry — they called or wrote.
• Waitlist — they want a spot and are in line. The number is their place in that line. Drag a family here to put them on the waitlist.
• Admitted — you have a spot. Invite is optional. When you invite, they fill the child’s details. When the row says Sent in, Review and Approve. The child is then on Children. You can also add the child on Children without a login.
• Location — each site has its own waitlist. If you have more than one location, use Select a location at the top of the page first.
