What this is

Calendar brings school events, conferences, and care hours together. Staff also plan shifts and time off here.

Do this

  1. After signing in, open Calendar and choose the dates you want to see.

  2. Add an event draft. Check its dates and audience, then publish it.

  3. Use Conferences to prepare appointments. Families choose a child and book an available slot.

  4. Use Care hours for expected hours and family requests, and Staff schedules for shifts and time off.

  5. Check Coverage for staffing gaps and rooms that would exceed capacity.

How it works

Events
belong to one location. Drafts stay private to managers; published events follow the selected audience and rooms. Closures come from School settings.
Conferences
contain slots with a teacher and optional room. Each child has at most one active booking per conference. A failed move keeps the original booking.
Care hours
describe when a child is expected. Parents report absences immediately; changed hours need approval. Planning never checks a child in or out.
Staff schedules
reserve teachers for published shifts. Approved time off opens affected shifts and withdraws appointments the teacher cannot attend.
Coverage
compares expected children with published care shifts, excluding breaks. Missing schedules or room settings need review. Planned coverage is not live attendance.
