Classroom photos

Check photo consent, tag each child, and share with authorized families.

What this is

Photos is where you share a classroom picture or short video, tag every child in it, and publish so families can see it.

Do this

  1. After you sign in, open Photos from the left menu. Use Gallery to browse; Add photo to publish.

  2. On Add photo, choose a photo or short video first. Then tag children (each shows Gave consent or Restricted; Select consented for a quick pass), optional caption, and Publish.

  3. If photo consent is off for a child in the image, do not publish it. Ask the family to review consent or choose a different image. Every child pictured must stay tagged.

  4. Optional: on Gallery, turn on “Allow parents to add a photo” if your center wants families to upload keepsakes.

How it works

Mandatory tags
every child in the picture or video must be tagged. There is no blur or AI guess.
Photo consent
each child shows Gave consent or Restricted while you tag. Publish fails if any tagged child is Restricted. The error names those children. Families change consent under Account.
About one year
classroom media stays in Ashby about a year, then is removed. Families can download keepsakes. Ashby does not promise unlimited storage.
Family feed
parents only see media tagged with their linked children. Hearts and short comments are allowed.
