Family Home shows today at a glance for your child — recorded attendance, the latest shared report and photo, unread conversations, and the school calendar.
Do this
After you sign in as a parent, open Home from the left menu.
If you have more than one child, tap their name to switch. Ashby remembers your choice for this school during your browser session.
Open reports, photos, messages, or the calendar to see more. Open profile to view your child’s details.
How it works
Each section refreshes every minute while Home is visible and when you return. A failed section offers Try again while other sections remain usable. Changing children clears the previous details immediately.
- Attendance
- today’s latest recorded check-in, checkout, or absence. No update means there is no record for today; it does not mean your child is absent. Dates use the school location’s timezone.
- School calendar
- published events and closures for the selected child’s location and rooms, based on active enrollment and permissions. Today shows what is still happening; otherwise Coming up shows the next events within seven days.
- Your children
- only children the program linked to you. Staff see the full roster; you see your family.
- Shared report
- a daily care report shared by staff. Drafts and corrections stay private until staff share them.
- Photos and messages
- the latest available photo for the selected child and unread conversations across your family. No unread conversations does not mean your inbox is empty.
